A new freezer item has thrown Aldi shoppers into a frenzy — yet again.

Fans have discovered a new satisfying and ready-made snack, and this time it's a version of a classic crowd favourite, the Aussie meat pie.

The Elsmbury Angus Beef Potato Pie can be found in the freezer section at Aldi, and is a must-try, according to fans of the retailer.

A shopper left TikTok users' mouths watering after sharing their love for the mashed potato covered snack, with user @emilyclairwebster declaring it "one of her favourite things to get from Aldi."

"Have you tried the Aldi potato pies?" she begins the video.

"The pies are just delicious and really easy to make. Look at that, it just looks amazing."

At $4.99 for a two-pack, the potato pies are not only a fan-favourite, but an absolute bargain.

The freezer item is also quick and easy to prepare, only needing a 40-minute heat up in the oven.

The video has already garnered more than 24,500 views, and has prompted many shoppers to share their love for the secret find.

A third person shared their own unique find at the freezer section: "We love them, so good. I love the chicken and leek Camembert sauce pies too, you should try them."

Fans were also pleased to discover the pies are Australian-made, after Emily checked the back of the box.
