Air fryer users shocked by video showing what happens inside while cooking
Air fryer users love their kitchen gadgets for their ability to just set and forget.
Now that a video has shown what really happens inside when they do so, they are shocked.
TikTok user Ali shared a video of her Ninja Crispi air fryer, which has a transparent air-frying compartment so that users can see what is happening to the food while it's being cooked.

She was so astounded by what actually happened, Ali posted the phenomenon on TikTok to shock others.
In her demonstration, Ali placed a spring roll inside her air fryer and waited for the magic to happen.
Soon enough, the spring roll began swiftly rotating as the air pushed it around inside the vessel.
"Watching the inside of an air fryer feels illegal," she shared.
"That was super invasive."
Others agreed, with one commenter asking incredulously, "THEY SPIN?"
"No way my food is just in [there] break dancing," added another.

"This makes so much sense yet none at all," one commenter said.
Some disputed the video, saying their air fryers don't do the same.
"I mean my air fryer has a viewing window and it most definitely isn't Raygun-ing its way to tastiness," one user joked.

"That does not happen in mine 'cause when I open it the food is in the exact same position no matter how small the food is," another added.
"It's blowing hot air on something light. [Of course] it's gonna spin," another stated matter-of-factly.
Others couldn't care less.
"What goes on in there is none of my business. I just need it crispy," said one commenter.

An air fryer, as the name suggests is powered by air.
A heating element at the top of the device emits heat while air circulates around the chamber to cook food evenly.
Upon seeing the video, one commenter said, "That's why my damn cheese never stays on."
In response, Ali posted another video with a slice of bread topped with a slice of cheese inside the air fryer.

Almost immediately after the device was turned on, the cheese flew off the bread and onto the side.
She later repeated the experiment with shredded cheese, causing a tornado of cheese to circulate the air fryer before landing on the bottom, with the bread slice levitating.
