Stars assemble for first Valentino ready-to-wear show since the iconic designer's death

Rome played host to a major fashion moment this week as Valentino unveiled its Interferenze Fall/Winter 2026 collection inside the grand halls of Palazzo Barberini.

The historic Baroque palace provided the backdrop for a star-studded guest list.

Among the most photographed arrivals was Gwyneth Paltrow, who brought a splash of colour to the front row.

But the Oscar winner wasn't the only familiar face turning heads.

From Lily Allen's sheer lace ensemble to Iris Law's delicate slip dress, the show – the luxury label's first ready-to-wear showcase since founder Valentino Garavani died on January 19 – attracted a stylish mix of celebrities and industry heavyweights.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow made a bold entrance in a bright green satin minidress covered in polka dots.

The design featured balloon sleeves and a high neckline, the actor pairing the look with white lace tights and mint-toned satin heels.

A chunky silver necklace and a black leather shoulder bag added a finishing touch.

Paltrow, 53, and Valentino maintained a close friendship for years, with the actress sharing a moving statement via Instagram when he died.

Lily Allen

Singer Lily Allen opted for a layered lace look that balanced delicate textures with chunkier outerwear.

She wore a sheer lace skirt with a matching lace bodysuit underneath, styling the outfit with an oversized brown leather jacket finished with a plush collar.

A pair of Rockstuds completed the ensemble.

Iris Law

Model Iris Law leaned into a softer palette for the evening, arriving in a pale pink slip dress.

The asymmetrical design featured thin spaghetti straps and jewelled bra detailing, with Law – the daughter of actor Jude Law – finishing the look with black-and-cream heels.

Colman Domingo

Euphoria star Colman Domingo kept things polished yet relaxed, wearing black loafers and denim jeans teamed with a bold red suede jacket.

Tyla

South African singer Tyla embraced the lingerie-inspired aesthetic currently dominating runways.

She wore a pale pink lace blouse paired with a sharp pinstripe mini skirt and pointed heels with striking cut-out details.

The singer paired the outfit with soft pink eyeshadow and glowy skin.

Georgina Rodríguez

Model and entrepreneur Georgina Rodríguez arrived in a glamorous black velvet gown.

The off-the-shoulder dress featured a halterneck chiffon detail and an asymmetric hemline.

Rodríguez has been in a relationship with football star Cristiano Ronaldo since 2017 after meeting in Madrid the year prior.

The pair announced their engagement last year.

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu

Emily in Paris' Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu stunned in a vibrant blue satin midi dress decorated with a bold jacquard print.

She accessorised with cream slouch boots and a tan leather shoulder bag.

PinkPantheress

British rapper PinkPantheress continued the slip-dress trend seen across the guest list.

She wore a sleek black satin slip with silver embellished detailing, opting for a minimalist approach that allowed the intricate bodice to stand out.

While Valentino traditionally presents its collections in Paris, the house returned to Rome for the Fall/Winter 2026-27 show. 

Creative director Alessandro Michele chose the city as the stage for the latest ready-to-wear collection.
