Aldi Australia teams up with Budgy Smuggler for limited edition hot cross bun-themed swimsuit collection

Aldi Australia is clearly not content with sparking a frenzy every winter with their iconic snow gear Special Buys – they're coming for your summer wardrobe staples too.

The budget supermarket giant is releasing a limited edition swimwear collaboration with Budgy Smuggler Australia, available in stores at the end of the month.

But it's not your average team-up.

The Aldi x Budgy Smuggler Limited Edition collection is specifically hot cross bun-themed, with a signature Aldi print heavily featuring the classic Easter treat all throughout the design.

"Aldi does Good Different, we do Good Smuggling, so it's a no brainer to combine forces and deliver the hottest buns this Easter," Budgy Smuggler's head of partnerships Jimmy Exelby says.

"These tasty treats aren't just good different, they're perfect for anyone that wants to look (and feel) like a snack," Exelby says.

"Whether you're poolside, beach-bound, or just popping down to Aldi for another pack of their giant hot cross buns, these Bun-gy Smugglers will have you looking hotter than a freshly toasted brioche."

On sale in Budy Smuggler stores from March 29, the Aldi x Budgy Smuggler Limited Edition collection includes the iconic Budgy Smuggler brief bottoms – priced at $58.50 – as well as the women's one-piece for $90.

Those price tags scream Aldi's signature low prices, with the collection costing customers roughly 10 per cent less than Budgy Smuggler's regular offerings.

All profits from the Aldi x Budgy Smuggler Limited Edition collection sales have been pledged to Camp Quality, Aldi's national charity partner.
