A parent has made a surprise discovery inside a bag of 'Sweet Chili Heat' Doritos, courtesy of their toddler.
The parent, who reached into the bag for a handful of delicious corn chips, instead pulled out an item that had gone missing.
"Recently replaced a missing AirPod, toddler hid new one in a bag of chips," they explained on Reddit's 'Mildly Infuriating' thread

"Luckily SO didn't break a tooth or something but sigh that's annoying lol."
Inside the bag of partially-eaten Doritos was the slightly dented AirPod, complete with red flavour powder all over it.
They explained in the comments, "LMFAO my bf did the end of the bag chip dump and apparently chews like a monster."
"I really wish they'd come up with earphones that were connected by a wire or something so they wouldn't go missing all the time," one commenter said.

"Good thing it hid it in the chips, not in the stomach," another added.
"I know it's a joke, but I'm more concerned that a toddler could access such an expensive choking hazard; and ironically could have choked out OP's partner with it hidden in food," one comment read.
The original poster explained: "He's at the climbing stage and amazes me every day what he can get his hands on lol normally there's no playing in mamas room either."

Others were distracted by the colour of the 'Sweet Chili Heat' Doritos, which is black in this particular household but is reportedly purple in other regions.
