"This is our lives," he told People during a recent interview, although he laughed that he could be really living the high-life right now instead.

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin star in a new show about their lives, and open up about their 'reality'. Instagram
"I always joke with her and say, 'You know where I should be right now, don't you? We should be on Geffen's yacht, drinking a cappuccino and reading a book, and having dinner with Spielberg or whatever'."
Hilaria butted in to add, "Instead, we're changing diapers!"
Their kids have always been a big part of their happiness, and Baldwin also has another daughter Ireland, 29, who he shares with his ex-wife actor Kim Basinger.

The new reality show is something the couple are hoping will show a different side of their relationship and family life.
For Hilaria, 41, she said it felt "empowering" to be able to do the show and tell their own story.
When the couple met 14 years ago, there was a lot of criticism around their age gap, but that's grown into questions around their decision to have such a big family and now how they parent.

The couple, who share Carmen, 11, Rafael, nine, Leonardo, eight, Romeo, six, Eduardo and Marilu, four, and Ilaria, two, want the reality series to change the way people think about them and the narrative around their family life.
Alec admitted a big part of doing the show is it also meant that he could stay close to home and the kids, while still working.
He explained he did this in place of "a movie or play" and he won't be away from the kids for a majority of the week now.
"For me, work-related things really aren't that critical anymore. I thought, 'I get to spend time with my family'," he said.
The series was filmed in 2024 and the cameras were rolling in the weeks before the actor was tried for involuntary manslaughter following the deadly accidental shooting on the rest of Rust in 2021.
