He won nearly AU$70 million (£41 million) in the lottery in 2012.
Not only is it Gareth Bull's claim to fame, it seems to be his pick-up line as well.
His lover, 48-year-old Donna Desporte, has revealed all to the Sunday Mirror, claiming she's been left 'really upset... and furious', after the nine-month relationship with the married father-of-two ended abruptly.
After her divorce, Donna moved to Tenerife - a Spanish Island popular with UK tourists - and opened a bar, where Gareth one day visited with friends, while staying in his 18-bedroom villa nearby.
The mother-of-four recalls their first meeting, telling the publication: “I was chatting to his mate and he came over and said, ‘Come and talk to me, I’m interesting, I’ve won the lottery’. Those were his exact words.
"OK the money's there in the background but that wasn't the primary driver for me - we actually had a connection."
On the day her interview came out in the Sunday paper, Donna changed her profile picture to one with Gareth, telling her friends: "Ha ha yeah going to have fun today and do things I wanted to do over past 9 months but couldnt (sic) lol temp profile pic"
