Mum-of-four killed after taking diet pills and using anti-cellulite cream bought on Facebook

Linda Baranowski had a milestone birthday coming up and was ‘paranoid’ about turning 50.
 
Her daughter Michaela Baranowski said this is why she bought a diet pill and anti-cellulite cream bundle, advertised online for AU$50.
 
The fat burner T5 pills, came together with the Yili Balo Red Hot Chili Burn Fat Loss Anti Cellulite Body Slimming Gel - both of which the seller had purchased from China on eBay.
 
Within weeks of taking the pills and rubbing her arms and legs with the chili cream, Linda’s skin started to turn purple and began to peel off.

She collapsed with stomach pains and died after five weeks on life support, when her intestines ruptured.
