Nine presenter Danika Mason and former NRL player Liam Knight engaged
Nine sports presenter Danika Mason is celebrating after getting engaged while on holiday to former NRL player Liam Knight.
Mason, 34, shared pictures from their getaway in Sardinia, including the moment Knight got down on one knee.
The 30-year-old chose to propose at the mouth of a cave, with a picture capturing the magical moment. Mason had her hand over her mouth out of excitement as Knight presented her with a ring.

The NRL and Today sports presenter then shared a picture of the ring itself, an oval diamond set on a silver band.
"Some exciting news … ❤️" she captioned the post.

The pair went public with their romance in July 2024, confirming their relationship via social media when Knight posted a photo embracing the news presenter to his Instagram page.
"My life's good," he wrote in the caption.
The couple have engaged in a long-distance relationship since Knight joined the English team Hull FC in March, enjoying overseas getaways whenever they can.
Knight previously played for Manly, Souths, Canterbury and the Raiders in the NRL.
