Louis Sr. is so proud of his son, and his son's partner, he's not afraid to show the happy couple to the world.

While working at a restaurant in California he was asked about his son, Louis Jr.

Louis Sr. thought it was the perfect time to talk about his son's boyfriend, Christian, and show his customers what the pair look like.

He sent his son a text message saying, "send me the pic of u and ur boy toy".

And this is what he got sent in reply.

Louis Jr. was so touched by his dad's gesture, he tweeted it saying, "so my dad shows off my boyfriend and I at work" alongside a screenshot of the message.

His dad's simple request meant a lot to him, Louis Jr. told Buzzfeed.

"I just love that my dad was showing off me and Christian," he said.

"I really love the comments toward my dad," Louis Jr. says.

"Everyone was telling me how much they love my dad — that he was the father of the year."

But not everyone was as supportive as Louis Jr.'s dad.

The father and son received a bunch of negative comments, with one troll even questioning how Louis Sr. could be so accepting.

"It makes me beyond angry," Louis Sr. told the publication.

But Louis Sr.'s simple request for the "boy toy" photo means the world to his son – and supersedes any negativity.

"It's not even us being gay," Louis Jr. says.

"It's just my dad accepting who I'm in love with."

Even Louis Sr. was moved by all the messages and says he would love and accept his son – no matter what.
