Scottish woman has coronavirus vaccine on her 108th birthday
A Scottish woman has become one of the oldest people in the world to have the coronavirus vaccine — on her 108th birthday.
Marion Dawson, from near Glasgow, was given the vaccine surrounded by balloons and a birthday banner at her local church, Houston & Killellan Kirk, which is being used as a vaccination centre.

"Happy Birthday Mrs Dawson!" health bosses at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde tweeted.
"Renfrewshire resident Marion Dawson received her #COVID19vaccine today on her 108th birthday. She is the third oldest person in Scotland and most senior in Greater Glasgow and Clyde."
Dawson, who was born in 1913, has lived through two World Wars as well as the Spanish flu pandemic.

She told the NHS: "I'm glad it's passed. I never felt a thing."
Dawson's doctor, Dr Diane Fisher, said it was an "exciting" milestone.

The Church minister Rev Gary Noonan called her a "local treasure" who never missed church.

"It's fitting she can get her vaccine in the Kirk, a place she loves."
The UK has now recorded 90,000 deaths from COVID-19.
More than four million people have now had the first of two coronavirus vaccines.
