Brother and sister match on Tinder, cue: awkwardness

A brother and sister have unexpectedly found a match – with one another – on dating app Tinder.

The pairing came after Weston Koury decided to swipe right after discovering his sister Kalynn's profile.

Now, we can't quite work out why he didn't just ignore the awkward situation and swipe left; perhaps he swiped right out of curiosity, or maybe Weston somehow didn’t realise the profile belonged to his sibling.

Either way, she, too, swiped right and that's how they matched.

And their text message exchange afterwards is just as awkward as you'd expect.

"WTF sissy," Weston wrote.

"What the flip are you doing on here? You aren’t 18+," Kalynn replied.

"You swiped right on me," Weston responded.

"You did it first sicko," was his sister's reply.

"This is so gross, I'm calling mom," Weston said.

"I already called her, have fun in juvi [juvenile prison]," Kalynn joked.

There's nothing worse than seeing someone you know on a dating app – especially Tinder - but at least these siblings saw the funny side.
