'One of the best': Brooke Shields makes rare comment on JFK Jr. romance in cheeky TikTok clip

Everyone is talking about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette right now, thanks to the new hit series Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette. 

The show has kicked off plenty of conversation, particularly around Kennedy's relationships, and now former flame Brooke Shields has weighed in. 

The 60-year-old model has rarely spoken about her fling with the late son of the former US president, but commented on his kissing skills in a cheeky TikTok with her daughter.

Alongside her daughter Rowan Henchy, 22, she mouthed the lyrics to the Charli XCX track Boom Clap.

Henchy looked at the camera as she lip-synced the lyrics, with the text "I wonder if JFK Jr. was a good kisser?" on top of the clip. 

The camera then panned over to Shields, who continued to lip-sync the lyrics, as the text changed to, "One of the best."

Henchy, added in the caption, "But don't forget… they never dated", seemingly in reference to Shields' name being mentioned in the new episode of the series. 

Shields has rarely commented on her relationship with JFK Jr. but fans loved the cheeky admission. 

"This is boots on the ground journalism," one person commented. 

"You said, 'Oh baby let's go straight to the source,'" replied another TikToker. 

Another added, "I'm so jealous rn." 

Shields and JFK Jr. were briefly linked romantically during the '80s, at the height of her fame. 

During an interview on The Howard Stern Show in 2023, she explained they went on one "real" ski date in Aspen, Colorado. 

Shields said after they shared the "best kiss [she's] ever had in [her] life, she "froze" at the prospect of having sex with hin. 

"I was like, 'Oh my God, you're falling in love and if you sleep with him, he may not talk to you again,'" she recalled. 

"I wasn't playing a game, I really was just so afraid of being really hurt. Because if I slept with him, I would have given him my entire universe, my heart, my everything."

Shields admitted she had loved him since she was a child, and her mum Teri even joked that he was the boy she was going to marry. 

But she still turned him down, because she felt like she "kind of loved him too much" and ultimately had to head back to the chalet solo. 

"I had to get a cab home, which was a little less chivalrous, in my opinion," she added in the radio interview.

The interest around JFK Jr. has kicked back up again, thanks to the new TV series.

Love Story revisits the relationship of Kennedy and Bessette Kennedy, one of the most famous couples of the '90s, who both died in July 1999 in a plane crash off Martha's Vineyard alongside Carolyn's sister Lauren Bessette.
