'Your money shot is on cable': Naked reality contestant sues

If you're going to get naked and wrestle a bloke on a beach on TV, maybe don't tell your grandma to tune in.

That's one lesson that 28-year-old New York model Jessie Nizewitz has learned the hard way.

A contestant on the US reality show Dating Naked, Nizewitz has launched a $10 million lawsuit against the producers, saying they didn't properly blur her crotch during one of the scenes.

The show, which screens on VH1 in the US, is based on a Dutch series called Adam zkt Eva (Adam is looking for Eve).

Nizewitz was told her bits would be censored in the broadcast of an episode in which she covered herself in mud and wrestled with her male co-star.

But when it aired there was a shot that showed what were until that moment her private areas to the entire audience, which included her grandmother.

"I felt lied to, manipulated and used," Ms Nizewitz told the New York Post.

She became aware of the censoring snafu when friends messaged her to let her know her "money shot is on cable TV".

"I immediately started getting text messages. Everyone saw it," she said.

Nizewitz, who is a professional model, was mortified. Her parents are annoyed at her, her grandmother won't speak to her and the man she was seeing lost interest in her after the episode aired, she said.

The lawsuit seeks damages from network owner Viacom and two production companies.

"I think they owe me a huge apology," she said.

And 10 million dollars, apparently.
