Commuter shaves legs at New York subway station
It’s not unusual for people to get things done while they’re waiting for the train.
And it makes sense.
You could be just standing there, wasting time, or you could tick something off your ever-growing to do list.
Some people like to pay their bills on their banking apps or check their emails or research photos of Bernese mountain dogs.

The time before you bus or train arrives is a great opportunity to catch up on the essential things you don’t have time to do – it’s down time you might as well make use of.
And we suppose that was that rationale behind this scene, showing a woman making the most of her five or so minutes before catching her train.
She was filmed doing a spot of cheeky hair removal while waiting for the train at Times Square station in New York city.
And, hey, we can’t say that’s something we’d do while during peak hour.

But it seems like it’s not really that uncommon in New York – we found evidence in the form of witness statements on Twitter dating as far back as 2010:
We guess when the desire for silky, smooth legs calls for you, it doesn’t care where you are.
