The internet responds to United Airlines' overbooking gaffe without mercy

Yesterday, America's United Airlines came under fire for its woeful mishandling of a situation in which a passenger who refused to vacate his seat on an overbooked flight was forcibly removed from the aircraft by airport police.
The passenger in question, believed to be a doctor, was left bloodied by their actions.
One of the officers involved has since been placed on leave, while the company's CEO has kind-of-but-not-really offered an apology for the whole fiasco, saying he was sorry the affected passengers had to be "reaccommodated".
