Quinn has a PhD and Alex was a GP. Now they run Australia's biggest OnlyFans Agency

Exclusive: In the eyes of most, Quinn and Alex Everly had it made. With Quinn holding a PhD in medical science and Alex operating as a qualified general practitioner, they had the credentials most people spend a lifetime chasing.

But they stunned everyone by leaving the medical industry behind in favour of a very different career path – running Australia’s biggest OnlyFans agency.

Their story started during their studies. Quinn was a PhD candidate, dancing at a strip club to pay her bills, and Alex was working toward his GP fellowship.

One evening, Alex came into Quinn’s club as a customer, and their chemistry was instant. So, of course, he came in again, and again, and again, before finally asking Quinn out on a date. And the rest, as they say, is history.

They were married within two years of meeting one another, and during that time, she finished her PhD, and he finished his fellowship.

While Alex stayed the course and began work as a GP, Quinn couldn’t shake the feeling that she was meant for something different.

“I ended up just loving the [adult] industry and really wanting to be a part of it full-time,” she tells nine.com.au.

“So, I ended up going to content creation like many people did during COVID.”

Quinn started an OnlyFans account, and within six months, she was earning tens of thousands every week.

“Alex was up late posting on Reddit for me and things like that when I was a content creator,” she laughs.

Eventually, the couple realised that something was missing in the industry.

While there were plenty of content creators joining the platform in Australia, there was no service to help them build their careers and thrive in the industry.

That’s when the couple came up with the idea for Blue Rose Talent (otherwise known as The Blue Rose Agency).

At this point, Alex had left his career in medicine to support his wife’s business endeavour.

“It just reached a point where it wasn’t even worth me working as a doctor any more,” he says.

“She was so busy and had so much to do, I started helping her.”

While Quinn’s family have always been on her side when it comes to her career – those who know about it at least – Alex’s family weren’t so sure at first.

“Both my parents are doctors as well,” he explains.

“My dad’s very supportive no matter what. Mum took a little [more convincing].

“It’s been a bit of a journey, I think. But everyone came around in the end.”

And while many might assume that things couldn’t get crazier, the couple decided to throw themselves further into the deep end with the launch of the new reality show Turned On: Dirty, Sexy, Money.

The show follows the couple and the women signed to their agency. Imagine Selling Sunset, but instead of a real estate agents in Los Angeles, its OnlyFans creators on the Gold Coast.

 “It was a decision that we didn’t take lightly, and it’s been a work in progress for quite a while” Quinn explains.

“But I feel really strongly about showing the good, the bad, and the ugly of this industry.

“And I think that there’s a lot of controversy, a lot of headlines, stereotypes, stigma, and preconceived notions around who we are and what we do as content creators.

“I really want to be able to show that we are three-dimensional people. We are real people. We’re just like everyone else, and there’s so many pros and cons of doing this job.”

“You get to show everything. And we have done that,” she says.

The decision to bring TV cameras into an already chaotic environment came down to the fact that it allowed Quinn and Alex to share a more nuanced look at the industry.

“So, I think anyone who watches it, they’re going to walk away with an actually real idea of what it’s like.”

It’s now been almost 10 years that Quinn has worked in the adult content creation industry, and today, she sees herself as more of a mentor to the women signed to her agency.

Or, in Alex’s words, “a momager”.

“I started content creation basically from scratch with no experience or knowledge, and kind of clawed my way up to making life-changing money on the platform,” she says.

“So, I think I’m in a good position to give advice and guide them, and I love being a mentor to them.

“It is a lot of pressure, and I definitely put a lot of pressure on myself to be perfect and not let anyone down, which is hard, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

While some might say she’s just in it for the money, Quinn’s true motivations come out when asked her what she’s hoping to get out of the show.

She could have said notoriety for herself or her agency, or even just a few extra zeros on the end of her cheque, but instead for Quinn, it’s all about her clients.

“If they are able to get mainstream exposure and for people to get to know them and love them, which I hope that they will, that could open up lots of opportunities for them outside of just being an OnlyFans creator,” she explains.

“Some of our clients want to become mainstream influencers, or they want to do other work in the entertainment industry, and I think that this show might give them that opportunity.

“So, it’s huge. It’s huge for everyone.”
