Grant Denyer faces 'worst nightmare' as on-air water stunt fails: 'Never again'
TopKnotz host Grant Denyer had "full respect" for two-time world champion slalom canoeist, Noémie Fox.
Even more so when the Aussie Olympian challenged Grant to face his "worst nightmare" in a water stunt... gone hilariously wrong!

In a brand new episode of the electrifying series, Logie award-winning presenter Grant Denyer agreed to take on Noémie in a thrilling whitewater challenge.
TopKnotz airs Thursdays at 8.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
But first a crash course in kayaking, a decision Grant would come to regret.
"As the only one here who has a genuine fear of drowning, this is like my worst nightmare," Grant confessed.

Just as he practised an emergency roll and exit, it was enough to make his heart race.
"I'm never want to do that again!" he yelled.

But when the real deal happened in the rapid white waters, Grant's "worst nightmare" came true.

"I think I got too much air from paddling too hard," he explained, breathless.
"I rode the lip of an oncoming tsunami and launched it into the air and lost balance."
Noémie was every bit calm.

"I have a real fear of being held underwater, and I was genuinely scared," Grant reacted.
"I told him to put his paddle up but he didn't follow instructions," Noémie laughed.
