Video of a violently slamming train door in the Philippines has gone viral, prompting local officials to take action.
In the clip, commuters rush to get onto the Manila light rail carriage, before the door snaps shut with dangerous force.
The video - which was originally uploaded to Facebook by local Seemon Florano - quickly went viral, accumulating more than 2.7 million views in just a few days.

A spokesperson from the Department of Transportation told the Philippine Star that the door has since been repaired: "We are doing our very best to be proactive on the maintenance of the 32-year-old train system while awaiting government procurement of new trains."
