As the stars took to the red carpet, we got our first major look at Ted Lasso S4
Everyone’s favourite football coach is set to return to our screens on August 5.
And on July 27, the stars of Ted Lasso took to the red carpet in Los Angeles to celebrate the world premiere of the new season. At the same time, fans were gifted with our first official full-length trailer.

Original cast members Jason Sudeikis (Ted), Juno Temple (Keeley), Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard) and Jeremy Swift (Leslie) were all in attendance, with Brett Goldstein (Roy) missing out due to currently working on a project filming in New York City.
Newcomers to the cast also walked the red carpet, with Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack and Faye Marsay all set to star as team members of the Lady Greyhounds, and Grant Feeley taking over the role of Ted’s son, Henry.
As far as the trailer is concerned, it looks like the Ted Lasso crew have done it again, setting audiences up for another beloved season.
Things kicked off with a sweet reunion between Ted and Roy, before we got a glimpse of Rebecca sitting in her throne (aka her desk chair) and Coach Beard being... Coach Beard.
There was worried look on Leslie’s face, a brief look at everyone’s favourite friendship between Keeley and Rebecca, a seemingly scared replacement for Nate, but most importantly, a moment between Roy and Keeley – Ted Lasso gods, we’re begging you to make this happen.
It also appears that Ted and Beard find themselves behind bars, Rebecca’s man is back, and Henry has a new job working for Mae.
While the first three seasons of the show follow Ted and his team, the Greyhounds, this season takes him on a new adventure coaching a second-division women’s team under the Greyhounds banner.

That means, with our returning fan favourites, we’re about to see a whole new cast travel to Richmond.
We get a glimpse at some of the shenanigans in the trailer but not too much is given away about our new characters.

All we really know is that Danny Rojas’ “football is life” motto has been replaced with a new, and in the words of Ted “not as catchy but true” motto: “Life is so much more than football”.
The first episode of Ted Lasso season four will be released on Apple TV on August 5, with a new episode every week until the finale on October 7.
