‘Tis the season for kitschy couple selfies!

Mistletoe has been hung beneath the famous Surfers Paradise sign so lovers can get into the festive spirit with a smooch.

Although it’s not as if anyone needs an excuse to snog on Cavill Avenue… or take a couple selfie in one of the most Instagrammed locations in the country.

Jenna and Matt were at Surfers Paradise Beach this morning and told us they were feeling the heat – although they are from England which probably had a bit to do with it.

Surfers Paradise local Donna said the mistletoe was “good Christmas spirit”. Her husband Ian said he “agreed with the wife”, almost guaranteeing himself some sugar.

So if you’re headed to the Glitter Strip this Christmas, be sure to pack your lip balm.
