Meet Stanley, the 31-year-old man who lives as an adult baby and even sleeps in a crib on My Crazy Obsession on Stan
Growing up is tough, but for Stanley Thorton, he decided he wanted to stay young at heart forever.
In an episode of My Crazy Obsession – which you can stream on Stan – we meet Stanley, who at the time of filming was a 31-year-old who lived life as a toddler, wearing nappies, sucking a dummy and sleeping in a crib.
Stanley referred to himself as an "adult baby" and dedicated eight hours each day to role playing as a toddler.

His condition is known as paraphilic infantilism.
"It's not sexual at all, it's a feeling of being safe, something I didn't have when I was growing up and being an adult baby became my way of coping with the world and my own problems," Stanley explained.

Stanley said his "obsession" stemmed from bed-wetting problems at the age of 13.
"I started using diapers and that's where it started for me," he said.
Despite being fully toilet trained, Stanley commits to wearing the diapers everyday.
At 170cm tall and weighing 130kg, Stanley has anything but a child-like appearance but that didn't stop him from wearing onesies, eating in adult-size high chair and colouring in with crayons.
Stanley realised that his way of life might seem peculiar saying, "Some might feel that I'm obsessed with acting like a baby with all the props and everything I have, it's more than most people do."

But maintaining a child-like lifestyle is something he took very seriously.
"When I role play, I tend to like to stay around the two range, I find the whole environment of being in a nursery very calming." he said.
"I like to have a bottle each night when I go to bed, I've got to have my pacifier."
Having a crib was "the most important thing" to Stanley.

He'd gone to great lengths to convert his own twin bed into a adult-size crib.
"The bars, they signify safety and it's something babies have when they are growing up."
Stanley was on the hunt for a carer or "mummy" to look after him full-time and was spending about four hours a day scouring the internet for someone who'd be the right fit.
"Searching for a mummy can be difficult, there are not as many mummies as there are adult babies," Stanley said of his search.
