From McDreamy to killer: Fans shocked by Patrick Dempsey's chilling transformation in new thriller
You know him best as McDreamy aka Dr. Derek Shepherd but actor Patrick Dempsey is trading saving lives for taking them in his brand new series Memory of a Killer.
Memory of a Killer premieres Monday, January 26, only on Stan.
Dempsey leads the show as hitman, Angelo Doyle, who leads a dangerous double life while hiding an even deadlier personal secret.
Michael Imperioli, best known for his role as Christopher Moltisanti in The Sopranos, stars opposite Dempsey in the role of Dutch, Angelo's oldest friend and an accomplished chef whose restaurant is a front for criminal enterprise.

Fans respond to Dempsey's career pivot
As the Memory of a Killer trailer premiered, many fans were shocked to see Dempsey in such a dark role.
"Surprised to see them cast a guy like Dempsey in a role like this. I'll definitely give it a shot," one viewer commented.

Memory of a Killer is Inspired by the book and 2003 award-winning Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer.
