Dad's horror after daughter's wedding dress reveals 'appalling' tattoo sleeve she's hidden for years
Bridal legend David Emanuel had just found the perfect dress for bride-to-be Amy Davidson.
Amy loved it, David loved it, there was just one problem big problem, it exposed a very big secret she's been hiding.
In an episode of Say Yes To The Dress: UK, which you can watch for free on 9Now, Amy explained she had hidden an entire tattoo sleeve from her father Mark – who she'd roped into coming dress shopping – for years.

"I'm a real daddy's girl. I don't think I could do it without him. I really value his opinion," the 28-year-old told the cameras.

But dress shopping became a bit of an issue when she explained the full story.
"I need to cover this, he doesn't know," Amy said pointing at her tattoo sleeve.
"Oh Lord, you're not serious?" David said in shock as he realised the impossible task ahead of him.
But it's David's job is to make sure brides find the right dress no matter what size, style, budget or secret tattoo.
"I've got my work cut out with this one," David added.
"It is hard to imagine how she has been able to hide a sleeve of tattoos for all this time from her dad, it is quite amazing."
David put Amy in a stunning mermaid dress with sheer sleeves with only enough appliques to partially cover her tattoo. But it's the best he could make out of a pretty tough situation.

Then it was time for the big reveal.
"I feel really nervous, like I'm going to cry," she said as she prepared to show her father her dress and sleeve for the very first time.
"My dad doesn't like tattoos at all, he's going to go mad," she added.
As soon as Amy walked out to show her mum and dad, Mark's face filled with horror.

"I did like it until I saw the arm. It's there in your face," he told his daughter.
"This is quite a shock for you. So we are thinking sleeves?" David asked.
"Definitely sleeves. I don't know how you make a wedding dress look nice with that arm," Mark said.
"She shouldn't have a full sleeve like that. Appalling. It will ruin any dress."

Amy returned to the dressing rooms feeling "really upset".
"I feel like I let my dad down. I'm disappointed in myself that I had this tattoo. This silly mistake and now it is making me and my dad feel uncomfortable."
Dad Mark was also feeling emotional and said, "I will never be disappointed in her but there was shock."

But David had one last trick up his own sleeve.
He suggested Amy wear a sleeve liner under long lace sleeves to cover her tattoo.
Amy walked to her mum and dad for a second time wearing a Cinderella style dress with sequin sleeves and hardly a peak of her tattoo in sight.
Dad was thrilled with the dress, "I can imagine walking down the aisle with Amy in this dress. It is how I imagined her to look."
And Amy loved her dress equally.
"I feel like a princess, and with this princess dress I know I have made my dad happy and that has made me happy," she beamed.
