Southern Cross Media Group has confirmed Luisa Dal Din and Jack Archdale as the new line-up following the cancellation of The Hit Network’s Carrie and Tommy after 10 years.

Better known as Lu and Jarch, the pair will move from Triple M to Carrie and Tommy’s 4 to 6pm Hit Network weekday slot from January 2027. The announcement was made at Seven Media Group’s Upfronts on Thursday afternoon.

“The best thing about Jarch and I will often find ourselves laughing off mic and the radio show will start. We will take things on a tangent,” Dal Din said of her and Archdale’s dynamic.

“It’s chaotic, it’s fun, and we want to carry that to the radio show.”

The duo already have a following from their podcast, We Mean Well.

Dal Din is a writer, radio producer, and comedian originally from New Zealand who previously worked on shows like Fitzy & Wippa.

Archdale is a digital creator and content maker from NSW (growing up in Walcha) known for his humorous skits on Australian culture.

More radio host changes were announced with Michael Clarke joining Nath Roye and Emma Chow on 2DayFM Breakfast.

Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little announced on Wednesday they will depart their popular afternoon radio show after a final show on December 11.

Bickmore confirmed the show’s end with an emotional message to listeners live on air.

“After nearly 10 years of doing this amazing show, the Carrie and Tommy show is coming to an end,” she announced.

“I’ve loved every minute of doing the show.

“It’s not every day you get to come and have a laugh and call it your job with your best mate and the funniest guy in the country, and that’s what we’ve got to do for the last decade.”

Little echoed Bickmore’s sentiment saying, “It’s really sad. It’s certainly not how I wanted it to end.”

“I love this job, and I would have kept doing it for a long time,” Little said.

“But I don’t always get my way, and I feel very grateful. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity. I think we’ve had an amazing job to do.”

Bickmore and Little’s split marks yet another casualty in Australia’s troubled radio industry after the demise of KIIS’ The Kyle & Jackie O Show in February and The Will & Woody Show in September.

Bickmore is rumoured to be making the leap to rival network ARN.

The Hit Network is also home to The Fifi, Fev & Nick Show in Melbourne with Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody and The Stav, Abby & Matt breakfast show in Brisbane with Stewart Davidson, Abby Coleman and Matty Acton.
