Kayaker paddling under low bridge at high tide is extremely uncomfortable to watch

If you’re even slightly claustrophobic, you might have a hard time watching this.

But you don’t need a fear of a small spaces to inform you that kayaking under a bridge at high tide is a bad idea.

We mean, if you’re the kind of person who enjoys being able to draw breath, you’d probably decide against wedging yourself under a bridge with just a few centimetres of air.

That doesn’t sound fun.

But, for some reason, this fisherman decided to give it a crack.

He leaned forward and paddled under a concrete bridge in a bid to get to the other side.

Obviously this dude hasn’t seen enough horror movies.

Because, leaving out the very real drowning risk here, this is a classic scary movie scenario.

Someone goes under a bridge and is never seen again.

People will start asking questions when his kayak eventually washes up, with nothing but a few shreds of his clothing and some grainy GoPro footage hinting at what happened to his mortal soul.

This could have been a real-life IT scenario, man.

Thankfully, the bloke decided to back out halfway though and managed to make it to safety.
