'I have some news': Today host Karl Stefanovic announces 'wild' career move after 21 years on air
Beloved Today host Karl Stefanovic has announced a surprise career move after more than 20 years on air.
"I have some pretty exciting news," the host, who joined the hit morning show back in 2005, revealed on his personal Instagram.
"Introducing The Karl Stefanovic Show."

According to Karl the live podcast, set to premiere this Sunday on YouTube, will be "wild", "unfiltered" fun.
"I am free and independent to talk to the people I'm curious about," he revealed.
But fear not, fans will still wake up with Karl and Sarah Abo as hosts of Today.

Karl revealed the personal project in addition to his hosting was a "curious beast" that "lived inside of my head" ready to be unleashed.

"A few decades on the telly has given me a very good bullshit metre - and an an eye for a bloody great story," he went on.

"This show will be the people I know you want to hear from too - across politics, sport, business and culture.
"Unfiltered. Unscripted. Uncensored. I'll go there. Why not? No spin. Lots of fun.
The Karl Stefanovic Show will premiere Sunday January 25 at 2pm AEST. His first guest? None other than Pauline Hanson.
"Are you ready to walk on the wild side?" Karl teased.
