VIDEO: People are fuming about this video of a 'ghost' terrorising an old Irish high school

Do you believe in ghosts?

Well if you don't this video probably isn't going to convince you.

It’s supposedly CCTV footage of the hallways of Deerpark CBS, one of the oldest high schools in the southern Irish city of Cork.

Apparently, the school is haunted.

Or at least, that's what the people behind the DEERPARKCBS YouTube channel would have you believe.

Their video Ghost caught on camera? is going absolutely bananas right now.

It's been on most major UK websites, while a repost of the clip on the Independent.ie Facebook page has clocked up more than 730,000 views.

And that's cool, because everyone loves a good ghost video.

But let's lay our cards on the table, it's pretty silly.

And we're not saying that ghosts aren't real, but it would be relatively easy to re-created this video with a bit of fishing line and some video editing software.

We've seen much more convincing fakes before.

But people in the comments section are getting super fired up about this.

We mean, we love a comment section debate as much as the next voyeuristic drama-lover, but this is a bit much.

Like, we're all pretty much on the same page about ghost video fakery, there's no need to get your knickers in a knot over it.
