French president tells Malcolm Turnbull his wife is 'delicious'

And on top of that, some slick Frenchman is brazenly hitting on your wife in front of you.
Malcolm Turnbull was welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron at Kirribilli House this afternoon.
And Macron was happy to praise the prime minister.
But he definitely went too far.
"Thank you and your delicious wife for your warm welcome. It was the perfect organisation of this trip," Macron said.
"Thanks to you and Lucy."

Granted, Macron speaks English much better than Pickle speaks French.
But what did he mean to say?
In French, the word delicieuse literally means "delicious", but it also means "delightful", which is entirely appropriate in the context.
Here's hoping Monsieur President was not actually making a pass at Lucy Turnbull.
Because that's a scandal that 2018 could not handle.
