English 20-year-old spends three hours stuck in a swing

There comes a time in every person's life where they realise they aren't as young as they used to be.

That moment came yesterday for a 20-year-old English man who had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a swing.

The young man was stuck in the swing at a park in Ipswich for three hours before police arrived to get him out at 7.50am in the morning, the BBC reports.

Which means he first sat in the swing at 4.50am, which is the worst time to get stuck somewhere by yourself.

The problem, put simply, was his bum was too big for the swing.

The cops tried the old-fashioned method of trying to shove and pull him loose from the playground equipment.

But they eventually called firefighters, who showed up with a screwdriver to dissemble the swing.

After getting the no-doubt embarrassed man loose, the firefighters put the swing back together.

"Always use age appropriate play equipment," Ipswich East Police said in a tweet.
