Bride's tearful warning after online wedding dress purchase ends in disaster
Bride-to-be Jessica found her dream wedding dress at a fancy boutique, but then she found a replica for a fraction of the price online.
Unfortunately for her, the dupe ended up being more spendy than savey, as 38-year-old Jessica returned to the boutique with an ill-fitting, low-quality dress folded inside a carry bag that she desperately needed to replace.

In an episode of Curvy Brides Boutique – which you can watch for free on 9Now – she turned to plus size bridal experts Jo and Al to remedy her mistake and find the original dress.

Jo said she knew brides would see cheaper gowns online and think it was a bargain, but pressing 'purchase' required careful consideration.
"Plus size dresses are designed for plus size girls and they're the price they are for a reason, because of the workmanship that has gone into them," the expert explained.
"I think if you're going to chance your arm and buy online, what can I say? You get what you pay for."

When Jessica tried on the cheap dress, they were not surprised that it wasn't up to scratch with lace that reminded them of doilies and no boning for structure.
"This, it just makes me think of rabbit droppings on the bottom of your dress. What's that all about?" Jo said, pointing out visible brown buttons down the back.
With just four months until Jessica's wedding, the pressure was on to find a solution.
Thankfully, after searching the boutique, Jessica's original dress was uncovered and the bride couldn't help but burst into tears.
"I'm so, so, so relieved. The emotion that I felt when I saw my dress was indescribable," she said.

The tears kept flowing as Jessica tried on her dream dress yet again, with no question that this time, she would be leaving the boutique with it officially hers.
