The newest employee of South Australia's court system has started his new job.

Zero donned his uniform to meet the bosses for the first time.

He also no doubt met his new colleagues and sussed out the food options.

However, Zero is no ordinary new starter- because he's a black Labrador.

His job will be to calm anxious victims of crime as they go through the often overwhelming legal process.

Zero, who is three years old, has been trained by Guide Dogs SA/NT.

He'll be in training for 18 months before becoming a fully qualified Very Good Doggo.
