There’s something not quite right about this computer-generated mugshot

What with the technological advances of today’s digital age, it’s not uncommon for police to harness this knowledge to create computer-generated images of suspects.

And most of the time, they can do amazing things.

Based off the description of witnesses, forensic artists can knock together some pretty spot-on images for police to distribute during the hunt for a suspect.

But then, sometimes they just don't nail it.

And with that in mind, we present with you the computer-generated mug shot of a suspected burglar Warwickshire Police are looking for in the UK:

Yup.

That’s quite a set of laughing gear.

The image is now going viral after the police force posted it to Twitter on Tuesday.

It immediately prompted a reaction, with the Tweet clocking up more than 16,000 likes in a day.

The responses were as serious as you could imagine:

Yep, we have this guy to thank for the Annoying Orange  being relevant again.

The replies were so crazy, they were compiled together as a Twitter Moment.

According to the police alert, this fellow tricked a woman into letting him and an accomplice into her house.

Police say one of the men told her they were from a housing association, distracting her while the other poked around her flat and snagged a quantity of cash. 

Nothing in the release mentions the men using a Snapchat filter as a disguise, however.

Being so close to April Fools Day, some assumed this was all a stich up, but police said it was legit.

Let’s hope they find this guy.

We mean, obviously we want justice served, but we really, really want to get a look at this guy’s mouth in real life.
