Zac Efron's surprise appearance at the Formula One Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne
Zac Efron joined the stars Down Under on Sunday for a surprise appearance at the stars Down Under on Sunday.
The High School Musical alum – who has had a years long love affair with Australia – was spotted trackside at Albert Park in Melbourne ahead of the F1 showdown.
Efron sported casual attire for the day, opting for a black long-sleeve shirt and cap, paired with some tinted sunglasses.

The Hollywood star shared some highlights from the day to his Instagram Story, posting a photo of himself pre-race as well as a video of him watching the Grand Prix in action.
At one point, Efron was seen chatting with Aussie star and Avatar actor, Sam Worthington, at the Oracle Red Bull Racing garage.
Worthington also dressed down in a hoodie and hat for the sport event.
Unsurprisingly, Efron's surprise appearance had fans going wild on social media.
"NOT ZAC EFRON WATCHING THE F1 RACE RN MY DREAM COLLAB," someone wrote to X (formerly Twitter) with lots of crying face emojis.
"zac efron and f1 my two favorite things," one person gushed.
"Zac Efron being at the F1 Race is as it's a perfect cross over of my fangirl sides," a third said.

Efron was amongst a sea of famous faces at Albert Park with Aussie screen icon Rachel Griffiths, tennis champion Dylan Alcott, model Bec Judd and more in attendance.
The A-lister's surprise sighting Down Under is one of his many over the years, with the star relocating to Byron Bay in 2020 during the pandemic.
He also filmed part of the second season of his documentary series Down to Earth in Australia in 2021.

The actor last returned to Aussie land early last year to film his movie Ricky Stanicky in Melbourne.
Efron's love for Australia goes for well over a decade though, with the star reportedly gushing about his love for the country at a 2012 premiere.
"What I love about Australia, which is what we don't have in California, is there are so many wide-open beaches where no one is at," he reportedly said.
