WWE superstar Nikki Bella opens up about brain cyst that forced her into early retirement
Wrestler Nikki Bella has shared an update on her health just days after revealing doctors found a cyst in her brain.
The WWE star opened up about her "super scary" condition to TMZ Sports, saying that she's extremely lucky the cyst turned out to be non-cancerous.
"They found a cyst on my brain which, thank God, it's benign," Bella told the outlet. "It's super scary and something you never think you're going to hear. But I'm so grateful for my health."

The 35-year-old isn't out of the woods just yet, though. She explained doctors will need to keep a close eye on the cyst from now on.
"It's something I have to watch out for the rest of my life because you never know how that can change — but I'm grateful because I know people have it a lot worse," she said. "It really scared me but it upsets me at the same time as it keeps me out of the ring."

The champion wrestler — who found fame in the sport with twin sister Brie Bella — first opened up about her diagnosis on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, while simultaneous announcing her retirement.
"I've always had my neck issues and after neck surgery it hasn't been OK," she said on the show during an appearance with her sister. "So I felt like I needed to get that check-up before we went back for the Tag titles. And then it came back I have… I herniated the disk above where I had surgery. I have all this inflammation around the metal, and then I have a cyst on my brain. So they were like, 'You're done.' No more, you're out. So I didn't get a choice."
