Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter posts heartfelt message following co-star Lyle Waggoner's death
Lynda Carter has paid tribute to her Wonder Woman co-star, Lyle Waggoner, just days after his death.
Carter took to Instagram to remember the actor, who passed away peacefully on March 17 after a long battle with cancer. He was 84.
"Lyle Waggoner was a memorable colleague and co-star, but he was also a friend," she wrote in a heartfelt post. "His kindness meant the world to me when I was very young and just starting my career."

The 68-year-old also recalled her last conversation with Waggoner, who played the role of Colonel Steve Trevor Jr. in the 1975 Wonder Woman series, on which he starred for four years.
"Lyle and I last spoke in 2018 and I'm so glad we had the chance to catch up," Carter shared. "We talked about how lucky we both were to be surrounded by such wonderful family and friends. I will miss you, Lyle."
Before he starred in Wonder Woman, Waggoner was an announcer and then a performer on The Carol Burnett Show for seven years, leaving the show in 1974 after 182 episodes.
Waggoner is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sharon, his two sons, Jason and Beau, and his four grandchildren.
"Lyle Waggoner, loving husband, father, grandfather, entrepreneur, and actor passed away peacefully at home on March 17th at the age of 84 with his wife at his side. The cause of death was cancer," read a statement his family released via Entertainment Weekly.
