WATCH: Avril Lavigne returns with lip-synching mess in new music video

Anyone who anticipated great things from Avril Lavigne's musical return is about to be sorely disappointed.

While we expected an influx of harajuku girls and hello kitty moments, Avril's new music video 'Give You What You Like' gives us everything we don't...starting off with the most horrific lip-synching TheFIX team have ever seen. Don't believe us? Check out the teaser up top.

The 'Sk8er Boi' singer took a few months off last December to deal with "some health issues". And while Avril looks back to her old self in her new clip, there is one thing missing (aside from actual vocals) - her blingtastic ring from hubby Chad Kroeger!

Of course, that could mean nothing because she's in a music video, but it sure doesn’t help speculation about the couple's current relationship status.

"Things still aren’t good," a source told E! News. "But Avril's friends are encouraging her to try and work it out. They don't like Chad, but she's already been through one painful divorce and they don’t want to see her going through another unless there's no other option."
