Vince Vaughn arrested for alleged drink driving and resisting arrest
It wasn’t the best weekend for actor Vince Vaughn.
The 48-year-old Swinger's star was reportedly arrested early Sunday morning for driving under the influence (DUI) and for resisting arrest in Manhattan Beach, California.
According to TMZ, the comedy actor was busted around 1:00am US time about 30 minutes from Los Angeles at a routine checkpoint by local police.
According to Manhattan Beach PD, Vaughn was initially uncooperative and at first refused to exit the car. He was subsequently arrested for misdemeanor DUI and obstruction.
Vaughn's passenger whose identity is unknown was also arrested for obstruction and public intoxication.
The actor was placed in jail around 4:00am local time and both men were later released after posting bail of $5,000 USD.

If the Wedding Crashers actor is charged, this will be his first drink driving offense.
At the time of writing, a request for comment from Vaugn's team by TMZ had not yet been returned.
