Zac Efron has been hanging out with a woman named Vanessa. And no, it's not his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

The actor was spotted out and about on numerous occasions in recent weeks with Aussie model Vanessa Valladares, who is rumoured to be his new girlfriend.

In late August, the couple were seen returning to Ballina in NSW after going on a skiing holiday to Thredbo. Then on September 5, they were spotted having lunch at Lennox Head near Byron Bay, where Efron has been quarantining since March.

And it looks as though this is the start of something new, given the Hollywood star recently extended his visa.

Valladares was reportedly working as a waitress up until her relationship with Efron made headlines.

The Byron Bay resident was said to have worked at the local General Store cafe — the same store Efron was first spotted in June, when reports surfaced he was living in Australia.

It's speculated that the new couple may have met at the cafe while Valladares was still an employee. 

How long have Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares been dating?

It's not yet known how long the couple have been dating, but their relationship appears to be serious.

According to the Daily Mail, Efron was scheduled to fly back to LA last month but cancelled his flight. The actor had applied to extend his three-month visa to to 12 months, but bought a ticket home in case it was denied by the Department of Home Affairs. Luckily for him, it was approved.

It's believed Valladares is now staying with Efron in Belongil Beach while he looks for a property to purchase in Bryon Bay.
