Tina Arena’s remark about ex-husband and convicted rapist Ralph Carr resurfaces
A social media comment by singer Tina Arena has resurfaced after her ex-husband Ralph Carr was unmasked as a convicted rapist on Monday.
For three years, Carr, 66, managed to keep his identity hidden from reporting, but a suppression order was lifted after he was found guilty of raping a young woman at his Melbourne home.

A comment made by Carr’s ex-wife Arena, 58, seven months ago has since reemerged online.
In December 2025, Australia Femicide Watch posted on social media: “Another high-profile Victorian has been charged with rape – and once again we can’t name them.”
Underneath the post, Arena said: “Time catches up for everyone. I think I know who it is, and looking forward to it being revealed.”
Arena has not publicly made comment. Nine.com.au contacted Arena about this story, her representative declined to comment.
Carr, who now in prison and considering an appeal, was a sports and entertainment manager dealing with stars including singers Vanessa Amorosi, Kate Ceberano, ex Tina Arena and AFL star Dustin Martin.
He and Arena married in 1995 and divorced in 1999.
Arena is set to discuss her marriage to Carr in an upcoming documentary about her life and career, Tina Arena: Unravel Me.
“I know what it’s like to lose everything and to restart again,” Arena says in the documentary.
“I’d realised there was no one burning for me. I started to open Pandora’s box … the emotional side of me started to collapse. I thought to myself, ‘You’re in the middle of a marriage breakdown’.”

Carr was ultimately found guilty of assaulting the woman at his Melbourne home in the early hours of March 24, 2023, after she discussed work with Carr and became emotional about her recent break-up.
Carr hugged her, she pushed him away and he began touching her breasts, waist and buttocks, before raping her twice.
Dann said Carr maintained his innocence and planned to apply for a rare stay on his sentence, pending an appeal hearing against his convictions.
Carr will remain in custody until a pre-sentence hearing at a later date.
