Love Actually star Thomas Brodie-Sangster's life and career in photos
Nobody else in Hollywood has captured the hearts of rom-com fans quite like Thomas Brodie-Sangster.
The British-born actor earned the adoration of millions when he was cast as Sam in the 2003 movie Love Actually.
Though he was 13 at the time, it feels like we all watched young Brodie-Sangster grow up.
Which makes it even harder to believe he's now 34 and – wait for it – a married man.
Yes, you heard that correctly. In June 2024, the actor tied the knot with his now-wife, Talulah Riley.
So that means now is a better time than ever to take a trip down memory lane to see how his career took off 21 years ago and what he's up to now.

2003
In 2003, Thomas Brodie-Sangster was a teenager when he portrayed the most adorable on-screen role we'd ever seen.
He was cast as Sam, the heartsick stepson of Liam Neeson's character Daniel.
It was Brodie-Sangster's cinematic debut. Before then, he had some odd TV and made-for-TV movie credits to his name, under the moniker "Thomas Sangster".
His very first acting role was in the 2001 BBC TV film, Station Jim.
He adopted the double-barrelled surname in 2009 when he was cast in Nowhere Boy.
2004
In fact, Brodie-Sangster almost had a very different (but equally famous) character on his resume too.
The actor once revealed he actually auditioned for the role of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise way back in 2000, before the casting was announced.
He was 10 and admitted to Radio Times that it was a tough loss when he didn't win the role.
"It was my first experience of rejection and hit me quite hard. I had feelings of anger and frustration, but I couldn't really put the blame on anyone for not giving me the role," he said.
"I do remember thinking, though, that the next time I went for an audition, I'd have to put up a shield to stop myself from getting hurt."
Still, it didn't stop Brodie-Sangster from attending the premiere of Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban in 2004, pictured here.
2005
Following the success of Love Actually, Brodie-Sangster nabbed a coveted role in another popular British film: Nanny McPhee.
He played Simon in the family-friendly movie, which also starred Emma Thompson and Colin Firth, fellow Love Actually alums.
Here he is pictured at the film's premiere in 2005 at age 15.
2006
One again, Brodie-Sangster played a much younger character than his teenage self in the Nanny McPhee film.
2009
Brodie-Sangster's career continued to thrive as the 2000s forged on, cast as a young Paul McCartney in the hit 2009 film about John Lennon's early life, Nowhere Boy.
2010
As well as on-screen roles, Brodie-Sangster began doing some voice acting in 2010, lending his voice to the hugely popular animated series Phineas and Ferb as the one of the titular characters, Ferb.
2015
Brodie-Sangster starred in the hit franchise alongside fellow British star, actress Kaya Scodelario.

2015
Brodie-Sangster went on to play Newt in two more installments of The Maze Runner.
2017
In 2017, Brodie-Sangster and his Love Actually co-star Liam Neeson gave us all a healthy dose of nostalgia when they reunited on the same park bench in London to film a video for Red Nose Day.
It was 14 years after the rom-com aired, making the actor aged 26.
