Back in the day, these comedies had us glued to the TV and quoting their hysterical characters in everyday life.

These days, they live on in meme form, and on Stan! 

From Fran Fine's iconic laugh to Karen Walker's drinking games, let's take a look at our old faves and their best catchphrases.

Karen Walker in Will & Grace

Megan Mullally's wealthy, drunk and sassy character in Will & Grace was, and still is, close to our hearts.

Always sozzled on something, she made no secret of her love of gin martinis and prescription meds. 

In her own words, "Honey, I'd suck the alcohol out of a deodorant stick!"

She may be a pill-popping, gin-soaked narcissist, but she's our pill-popping, gin-soaked narcissist.

Fran Fine in The Nanny

Who could ever forget the flashy girl from Flushing and her distinct nasal twang?

Fran Fine's famous voice was a character in its own right on The Nanny, especially when addressing her employer/future husband Maxwell Sheffield as "Mr. Sheffffiiiield!"

In real life, it's not that much of a stretch from actress Fran Drescher's real voice.

Dr. Frasier Crane in Frasier

Frasier was loved by many during its 11-year run, but maybe the most memorable part was the closing theme song, a jazz number sung by the star of the show, Kelsey Grammer.

'Tossed Salads & Scrambled Eggs' played at the end of every episode, leaving us bopping along well past bedtime.

Matt LeBlanc famously played the lovable ladies man with only one pick-up line.

"How you doin'?" still gets used today, but not everyone has the success rate that Joey Tribbiani had in Friends.

Everyone on Seinfeld

During its nine-year run, Seinfeld became one of the most beloved and quoted television shows of all time.

It's difficult to isolate just one great quotable character, because there are so many. From "Yada yada yada" to the Soup Nazi's unforgettable "No soup for you!", the one-liners were plentiful.

Seinfeld was so original, it even invented a new holiday.

George's dad, Frank Constanza, made up a holiday and called it Festivus. It's listed on Wikipedia as "a secular holiday celebrated on 23 December as a way to celebrate the holiday season without participating in its pressures and commercialism."

Hyacinth Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances

British housewife and social climber Hyacinth Bucket was forever correcting the peasants around her about the pronunciation of her surname on Keeping Up Appearances.

"It's 'Bouquaaaaay!'" she endlessly chirped throughout all five seasons.

Still, it never got old.

Edina Monsoon in Absolutely Fabulous

"Darling, sweetie, darling, pour me another glass of Bollie will you?"

Eddie from Ab Fab and her BFF Patsy partied hard, drank expensive champagne by the case and unashamedly hunted down celebrities.
