The Morning Show trailer previews the drama behind AM TV
In Apple's new drama The Morning Show, the bad blood brewing behind the scenes of the program at its centre is stronger than most average cups of AM coffee.
The first trailer for the forthcoming series previews the complicated happenings on the set of one morning news program in the middle of what one boss (played by Billy Cruddup) tells his staff is "an epic rebirth."
Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon on Apple's new TV show, The Morning Show. Apple
This revamp happens after one co-host (Steve Carrell) finds himself at the centre of a controversy. (Jennifer Aniston's character, who also co-hosts the program, makes reference to "allegations" in the trailer but the nature of them is not made clear.)
Enter Reese Witherspoon, whose character is targeted to come aboard the program, much to the chagrin of some.
The full trailer comes just a few days after Apple dropped a first-look teaser. (CNN's Brian Stelter is a consultant on the project, for which his book was used as background.)
The Morning Show will hit Apple TV+ this fall.
