'The Block' winner Elyse Knowles takes ex-manager to court
Elyse Knowles is suing her former manager Sean Anderson, claiming that he does not deserve the $60,000 commission he received after she won The Block Season 13
According to The Herald Sun, the 25-year-old model insists that she applied for the program on her own accord without management's help, and therefore wants his manager's fee returned.
However, Anderson has disputed the suggestion that he wasn't responsible for Knowles' appearance on The Block, telling the paper that he "looks forward" to defending himself in court.
"We pitched Elyse and [her partner] Josh [Barker] for the show, organised their auditions, negotiated her participation agreement with Nine, managed all her Block publicity and so, quite rightly, commissioned her share of earnings from the show as per our contract," Anderson said in a statement.
Knowles and boyfriend Josh Barker reportedly made $550,000 after winning the she show last year.
