'The Bachelor' star Alex Nation reveals her real name, and it's a tongue-twister

Alex Nation became a household name when she appeared on The Bachelor two years ago, but turns out that's not even her real name.

In a promotional Instagram video for Vogue Dental Studios, Alex revealed that her legal name was in fact far longer than the name she used on the reality show or in everyday life. (Yeah, we're not exactly sure how her name is linked to teeth whitening, but anyway.)

"I'm Alex. But what you don't know about me, though, is my name is actually Alexandra Denise Marilyn Nation McGurgan," she said in the video. "Say that five times, fast!"

In fact, Alex -- who was reported to have split from fiancée Maegan Luxa, but their recent Instagrams suggest they're still together -- said that her name was so long that it was hard fitting all five on legal documents.

"What were my parents thinking!?" she captioned the video. "I struggle to say my own name!”

Her dad, Scott McGurgan, was quick to reply that it was a "very well thought out name!!!!!" but Alex wasn't so sure.

"Dad, it doesn’t even fit on my passport hahahahaha," she replied.

The sponsored video comes as a surprise given earlier this month she revealed she had returned to full-time employment because being a social media "influencer" and getting paid for paid Instagram posts weren't paying the bills.

"The reality is for me, sponsored instagram posts weren’t sustainable enough and I really wanted a full time job/career," she wrote. "So I went out and got it and I f---ing love it!"

But judging from her Vogue Dental Studios post, doesn't look like she's ditched her side hustle altogether...
