Taylor Swift spotted at first Chiefs game since wedding to Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift has been spotted at the Kansas City Chiefs game supporting her husband, Travis Kelce, minutes after it was confirmed that she would not be at the 2026 Emmy Awards.

Swift was spotted in the Kelce Suite at Arrowhead Stadium with her dad, Scott Swift, Kelce’s mum, Donna Kelce and actor Tom Cruise.

Swift and Cruise were photographed as they sat together inside the stadium and chatted. Swift wore a Chiefs jersey, while Cruise opted for a black button-down shirt.

Of course, this is not the first time Swift has attended a Chief’s game, but it might be one of her more significant appearances, marking the first game Swift has attended as Kelce’s wife.

The pair got married at Madison Square Garden on July 3.

It is also the first game of the season for the Chiefs, with Swift skipping the 78th Emmy Awards to support her husband.

Pictures of Swift sitting in the suite dropped just minutes after the Emmys streamed a pre-taped segment of the Law and Order cast trying to work out whether Swift would attend the awards show.

Swift joined in on the murder-board brainstorm, and confirmed she would not be going to the awards show because her “husband has a work thing.”

The pair first made their relationship public after Swift attended a Chiefs game on September 24, 2023. The internet immediately broke into a frenzy, with fans in disbelief that the rumours of their blossoming romance were true.

Swift and Kelce’s love story blossomed from there, with the pair showing up for one another at every major life event since.

Swift once jetted across the globe to watch Kelce win the Super Bowl in February 2024. Just months before, Kelce flew to Buenos Aires, Argentina to watch Swift perform her Eras Tour show.

The pair tied the knot in a massive celebrity-filled ceremony in July, with Adam Sandler officiating the wedding.
