Nine-year-old Archie Wilson was the lucky recipient of the 22 hat on night two of Taylor Swift's Sydney concerts after his dance moves caught not only the superstar's attention, but also those on Twitter.
"The kid that won the 22 hat was ABSOLUTELY ICONIC WHAT," said one fan.
"The cutest 22 hat exchange I've seen," claimed another.
Archie and his mum talked to Today about the surreal experience, though the youngster says he doesn't remember what the star said to him.
"I just feel like it was a meant to be moment, especially since my mum only got tickets at 5:30pm and she'd been trying for weeks to get some."
Of his idol, he said, "She just makes me and many other people happy with her singing. She's just an amazing person."
His mum Briony added, "At 5:30 I ran through the house screaming 'Oh my God, we have tickets' and we live an hour away. So it was literally throw something on and go.
"And our tickets were on the floor and we walked in and Rebel Wilson was next to us and it was so surreal.
Archie added that he wants to be just like his idol. "I've always wanted to be up on that stage," he said.
Ari (pictured) and her younger sister Darcey are big Taylor Swift fans and told 9Honey they were at an 11/10 excitement level before the first Sydney show of The Eras Tour.
Ari bought Darcey the tickets as a Christmas present but had convinced her little sister she'd missed out on tickets.
"You cried, didn't you?," Ari said to Darcey.
"Yeah, it was amazing," she replied.
The pair travelled to Sydney from Canberra - spending four hours on the train - but that was nothing compared to how long it took to get their precious seats.
Ari tells 9Honey she had spent 16 hours waiting in the online queue on pre-sale days, about eight hours each day.
Then, Ari spent 30 hours making their costumes ahead of the event.
Tegan (left) and Deanna (right) travelled to Sydney from Queensland - Rockhampton and Brisbane.
They flew down on Wednesday and turned it into a holiday, visiting family ahead of the concert.
Both admitted they were gutted the singer didn't announce a Brisbane show on the Australian leg of her Eras Tour - mostly for one very convenient reason.
"So bummed, I live like five minutes from the stadium, I could have walked there," they told 9Honey.
It took Kate and Ellie a few tries to get tickets but on the third attempt they were successful.
They admitted to 9Honey there was plenty of screaming and squealing at the time.
Another lucky fan received a hat from Taylor Swift herself at the second Melbourne concert for her Eras tour.
Oliver Mills, a TikTok content creator, was called up on stage as she sang 22 on Saturday night. Swift knelt down to give Mills her hat, but not before telling him, "I love your videos, you're so funny."
"The problem is, I have no idea what I said," he told Today this morning. "Probably something intelligible."
On the popstar being a fan of his, he said, "I don't want to be ridiculous with it, but, yeah, she apparently... asked for me, so we're good."
Swift went in for not one, but two hugs with Mills, who said he "still can't breathe," after the excitement of it all.
"The fact that there was a video of me hugging Taylor Swift, it's just something I cannot and will not ever fathom."
After she gave him the hat she asked for a friendship bracelet.
Mill's only regret was that it "didn't have (his) number on it.
"But I heard that it's been done before, so I don't want to step on anyone's toes," he said, referring to how Travis Kelce, Swift's boyfriend, did so to get the superstar to contact him.
On why he loves the singer, he said "She's a complete ecosystem, really, in an entire economy.
"My first experience with Taylor Swift was kind of through her fans and they were just the most kind, beautiful, amazing people of all time.
"And that's what I will always appreciate her for, is that she makes music and performs in such a way that allows people to express such a wide range of emotions.
"And I've been able to do that on online and, really heal through that."
As for where the hat will go, he said, "it should go in the museum somewhere. Like I'm expecting, you know, the monarchy to come and take it from the hotel. But we'll see."
