Single photo appears to finally confirm controversial rumour about Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun

Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun have been pictured together in what appears to confirm a long-standing rumour.

The actor and music producer, who is known for his famous feud with Taylor Swift, were photographed stepping out of an office building in New York City on Sunday night (Monday morning in Australia).

The photos seem to confirm the pair are together after rumours of a romance kicked off in June.

Sweeney wore a grey pinstripe dress underneath a cropped button-up as she walked alongside Braun.

She wore her hair out and covered her face with a pair of black shades.

Meanwhile, Braun paired some khaki-style pants with a white shirt, black cardigan and a New York Jets sports cap.

Reports of a connection between the pair date back to June when both Sweeney and Braun attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez' lavish Venice wedding.

Weeks earlier, the actress confirmed her split from her fiance Jonathan Davino in an interview with The Times published on Sunday, May 31.

"I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I'm loving it," Sweeney told the publication.

Shortly after the Bezoswedding, TikTok clips began to surface of Sweeney and Braun strolling through the Italian city together.

By September multiple publications, including People and TMZ, reported the pair were casually dating.

Since then the pair have been spotted together on a number of occasions, including at a dinner at an LA restaurant, at her lavish space-themed birthday party and with her parents at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights event.

And, of course, most recently during a day out in New York City.

Neither Braun nor Sweeney have addressed their relationship.

Speculation of a romance between the pair has raised some eyebrows as Braun is known to be a controversial figure in the music industry.

The producer, who has worked ithe likes of Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Usher and Ariana Grande, first waded into hot water when he purchased the record company Big Machine Label Group which owned the rights to the majority of Taylor Swift's back catalogue.

He later sold Swift's catalogue to Shamrock Capital, despite allegedly knowing she wanted to acquire it – a move that prompted the singer to begin re-recording her old songs before finally reclaiming her original masters earlier this year.

Braun has also reportedly cut ties with several musicians over the years, including Bieber and Grande.
