David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan lead red carpet arrivals at the Superman world premiere in Los Angeles
Fans are excited to see director James Gunn's and DC Studio's version of Superman, with the film being released in Australia this month.
Its stars David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan helped spur anticipation as they stepped out at the film's world premiere in Los Angeles on Monday.
Held at the TCL Chinese Theatre, the pair, who play the iconic Superman and Lois Lane in the film, cut stylish figures as they led red carpet arrivals.

Brosnahan looked incredible in a glittering purple cut-out dress as she hit the red carpet and posed for pictures with director James Gunn and her co-star.

The American actress, 34, wore a dress with a backless design and a low neck and cut-outs over the waist.
She pulled her dark hair back and off her face into a low ponytail and accessorised with eye-catching silver star-look earrings.
She added a touch of colour to her makeup palette with a soft red lip.

At the event, the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star was joined by her husband Jason Ralph.
Her appearance comes after she called out stars who 'complain' about their superhero roles.

Speaking to Interview magazine, the actress said: "I don't know why people say yes only to then turn around and complain about it."
"Look, I don't want to s--t on other actors, but there was a minute where it was cool to not like superhero movies and to look back on projects like this and pooh-pooh them," she said.

Meanwhile, her co-star David Corenswet looked dapper in a three-piece navy stripped suit as he hit the red carpet with his wife, Julia Best Warner.
James Gunn
Director Gunn, 58, looked smart in a black suite and a silk shirt as he celebrated his new film with wife Jennifer Holland, 37.
He is also known for films including Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad.

William Reeve, 33, the son of late actor Christopher Reeve, who is a spitting image of his father, attended the event.

Christopher is known for playing the character of Superman in the '70s and '80s film series.
Other familiar faces at the event included Sara Sampaio, who stunned in a red gown and gold jewellery, and Nicholas Hoult.
The pair both have roles in the film and Hoult is expected to play Lex Luthor.
He wore leather-look pants to the premiere.

Another actor in attendance was Vacation star Skyler Gisondo, who looked smart in a beige linen suit.
He is also a star of the 2025 film, which is expected to be a box office hit.
