'Didn't feel comfortable': Spice Girl Mel C weighs into Brooklyn Beckham feud
Former Spice Girl Mel C has weighed into the drama involving her bandmate and friend Victoria Beckham's feud with her son Brooklyn.
Sporty Spice, whose real name is Melanie Chisholm, touched on the fact she raised her only child out of the spotlight, in stark contrast to the very public upbringing of the four Beckham children.
Chisholm, who shares her only child Scarlett Starr, 16, with former partner Thomas Starr, said she was "so relieved" she raised her daughter privately.

"It's so hard to be in the shadow of a parent who's had success," she said.
"The thing is, with Scarlett, she's not in the public eye.
"I made that conscious decision when she was a baby.
"Obviously, I have friends who handle it very differently.

"Each to their own, no judgment at all.
"But for me, probably because of my experiences with fame, I didn't feel comfortable making that decision for her."
Chisholm has in the past spoken about the downside of living under intense fame, which added to her battles with depression, eating disorders and body image problems.
Her daughter's private upbringing is in stark contrast to the Victoria and former soccer star David Beckham, who raised their four children in the glare of the spotlight and often shared photos of them on Instagram.

It is something Brooklyn Beckham, 26, touched on in his sensational six-page statement on Instagram last week, in which he said he did not want to reconcile with his family.
Among his grievances, was his family's values, which he said saw them place "public promotion and endorsements above all else".
"Brand Beckham comes first," Brooklyn wrote.
"The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into."
Brooklyn also accused his parents of "trying endlessly to ruin my relationship" with wife Nicola Peltz "since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped".

Victoria is said to be devastated by her eldest child's public rant, after she came in for particular criticism.
He accused her of cancelling plans to make Nicola's wedding dress "in the eleventh hour... forcing her to urgently find a new dress", and said she "hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song".
"In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead," he wrote.
"She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.
"I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."

Chisolm's comments come after she and Beckham reunited with former bandmates Geri Halliwell-Horner and Emma Bunton for the latter's 50th birthday celebrations over the weekend.
Beckham shared a snap of the foursome on Instagram, writing "Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul @emmaleebunton I love you girls so much @gerihalliwellhorner @melaniecmusic xxxxxxx."
Of the five Spice Girls only Mel B, whose full name is Melanie Brown, was absent from the get together.
